CABINET FIRE SUPPRESSION SYSTEMS
These are low cost systems that use FM 200 (HFC227ea), NOVEC 1230 (FK5-1-12) or CO2 as suppressant in order to protect cabinets and machinery instead of protecting the whole enclosure. The system is activated when the detection tube that is filled with nitrogen at 25 Bars is damaged by flames at 100 C°. Once the nitrogen is discharged, the locking mechanism is activated and fire suppressant is then discharged into the protected enclosure. In case the system needs to be supervised through a pannel, an electrical connection may be installed.
