CARBONDIOXIDE (CO2) FIRE SUPPRESSION SYSTEMS

Historically the most popular fire suppressant, CO2 offers specialized solution to fire hazards. Although it is not ideal for enclosures which house humans, CO2 is an effective suppressant for A, B and C class fire hazards. CO2 is especially the most effective solution for enclosures where flammable and explosive chemicals and heavy industry machinery are housed. It may be used in total and local flooding applications. CO2 extinguishes fire by reducing Oxygen concentration in addition to its cooling effect. Because of its cooling effect, it is not a desirable suppressant where people and delicate equipment exist.

    • It is colourless, odourless, leaves no residue and is non-conductive.

    • GWP= 0 (no greenhouse effect)
    • Not suitable for manned enclosures.

    60 bar basınç altında TPED ve PED sertifikalı, CE belgeli, π işaretli ve UL, LPCB işaretli silindirlerde muhafaza edilir.

  • CO2 Silindiri mahal içerisinde mi yoksa mahal dışında mı olmalı?

    Silindir öncelikle projede görünen yerinde olmalıdır. Sebebi de projedeki yerinin değiştirilmesi gaz miktarı ve boşalma süresi değişeceğinden bu insan ve mahalin güvenliğini riske atabilir.

  • Silindirin bulunacağı mahalde dikkat edilecek sıcaklık ne aralıkta olmalıdır?

    Silindirin bulunacağı alan [ – 20°C / + 50°C ] sıcaklık aralığında olmalıdır.
